So we are super pleased to announce the third issue in the series XCT #2: Awaken the Baykok is now out and available. We are currently in the process of stocking all stores and the latest issue should be available with the next month at your local comic book store. Format: Standard comic, full colour, 24 pages, Issue #2 of an ongoing series, limited to 2500 standard copies and 500 incentive cover copies.

Synopsis: In the year 2069, what has been uncovered in secret archaeological digs, transpiring over the last 50 years is going to rock the foundation of what we all believe. The remains of heroes, villains, monsters and creatures, that have long been believed to be myth or legend have been found. The remains have been used to create clones. These clones are caged, retrained and forced to fight in the most brutal sport in the world, the “Xtreme Champion Tournament”. This has become the most watched sport in history, and sees cloned fighters pitted against each other, as well as well known mythical creatures, for entertainment purposes.

Introduction: In Issue 1 we were introduced to Oscar Keenan the owner of XCT and his scientist Dr Frank Stein. Although Oscar’s motives seem pretty clear, Dr Stein’s motives are more of mystery. In this issue we will see the development of his relationship with Spartacus, as well as what’s going on between Spartacus and Lozen. Plus we introduce our first villain into the series Baykok, because let’s face it a great hero needs an awesome villain!
